this season. I know she hasn't been using faces of other dead people this season, though she did to take out the freys last season. I know many predictions - most that would have been more satisfying than last night's (spoilers ahead) demise of Cersei had her using the face of Jaime or Tyrion to choke her out but that would have required the death of either character leading up to that. Not a huge fan of Jaime's conclusion considering he's had this massive evolution over 7 1/2 seasons, only to slip right back to being the old Jaime at the end. Cersei also demonstrated no strength, intelligence or cunning last night which was out of character.

I'm hoping something big happens in the final episode but so far all of the more interesting theories/predictions for season 8 have been cast aside for pretty tired/predictable outcomes. I honestly don't know what ending would be satisfying at this point...

Jon is clearly the protagonist and Dany the antagonist at this point. Will we be happy if Jon, predictably, prevails? What if they let Dany win - considering we've spent 7+ seasons rooting for her to do so. Does the "wheel" get broken and Jon & Dany both die in a Romeo + Juliet-eqsque finish with a few other notable characters coming together to destroy the monarchy in favor of a more democratic system? Something else random (Gendry takes the throne?) happen? How can they really fit any kind of dynamic finish into just one episode? Maybe episode 6 ends with a cliffhanger and preview for a GOT movie?
