In January my MIL was told my FIL had 'hours' to live and loved ones scrambled to get into town. He held on for about a week and no one could figure out how or why. They finally had his priest come talk to him and tell him not to be afraid and that it was ok for him to let go. He died 20 minutes after the priest left the house.
