I like this time of year more and more: better quality family time

Personally, once college basketball season ends, I kinda stop caring about sports until September 1. Spend lots of great time at the park, riding bikes, just being with my kids without worrying about some football score. Of course, once autumn hits, it's back to focus on the Hokies on Saturdays.

As a Redskins fan, my Sundays are perpetually irrelevant, so I normally do nothing but family stuff on Sundays. It usually only takes watching one or two Skins games to remind myself that yep, they still suck. Lots of hype again as usual this preseason, but I have faith they'll find a way to follow tradition and botch it, per usual.
