So sorry. You're right. I'm sure all the players are really excited about the improvements their making. the Juniors and Seniors can wait - no big deal. The two Freshman playing will be fine. Considering the returning players and JUCO transfers (except Jack Owens) are hitting worse - that shouldn't be an issue. attendance can wait also. Those 5 people at the monday night game behind home plate was bigtime. ESPN loved our decoder pouch and said no one will ever steal our signs - however no one really cares.

I talked to a few baseball scouts and you're right. No need to focus so much on throwing the ball over the plate. They're all fine with an increase in base on balls. They want velocity, balls in the dirt, wild pitches and pass balls.

And you're right on hitting - a kid getting 5 hits in the first ACC series is definitely enough data to predict the remaining 9 series. He was on track to set an NCAA record. - oh dang he only got 2 hits vs Pitt the next week.(but they are so much better and that weekend was a fluke). It must be Christmas from all the Ifs, buts, and nuts.

As far as injuries - you're right. Horanski's 39 games played in '19 is much different than...... oh yeah; he's played 39 games in '19. No big deal he dropped 30pts for the same amount of games. Hitters are definitely getting better than '18. and you can definitely blame the injuries like Miami has (only they're winning).


one thing I can tell is that this team is so much more talented than last year. That's a fact - there's more to losing than the players. IMO.
