OL mediocre under stiney, complete mess under Newsome (except that one year when he had like 5 r-SRs), solid-not-great for the past 3-4 years. It's a crutch that many hokie fans can't let go of to try to rationalize away any other weaknesses on the team (in particular, bad running backs).
