If the XFL 1.0 promoted itself as being "eXtreme football"

then it will be interesting to see how XFL 2.0 goes about promoting itself. Something else I found interesting is the stadium the 8 franchises will play their home games in because not all are playing in large football stadiums.

Dallas - Rangers baseball stadium (25,000)
Houston - Houston Cougars football stadium (40,000)
Los Angeles - LA Galaxy soccer stadium (27,000)
New York - Giants/Jets football stadium (82,500)
St. Louis - Rams former football stadium (66,965)
Seattle - Seahawks/Sounders football/soccer stadium (69,000)
Tampa Bay - Bucs/Bulls football stadium (65,618)
Washington - DC United soccer stadium (20,000)

I am not sure if that is a good or bad thing for the league to have such discrepancies in the maximum capacity. Given the attendance issues the AAF had, the XFL may want to play the games in smaller venues.
