IMO we learned a few things. First, good coaching makes a differerence.
Second, recruiting the right guys to fit your system and personality is key. Third, thru good (doesn't have to be great) recruiting a quality team can be put together in just a few years. Four, it takes consistency in recruiting, minimizing the year to year gaps, to build a program (not just a team) to sustain performance at an above average level.
