David Wilson, Lee Suggs etc and young Mr. Beck play and he ran against some decent HS teams as did Wilson etc. He is a football player that ran track because he could run really fast. Especially a really good Salem HS team in which he totally ran all over their solid defense. His mother works with my company and I remember talking to her before Tech offered and she said he was really hoping for a VT football offer. I asked her what other sports did he like playing. She said track but it was more of a way to support his HS and be involved with his friends in a fun team sport. From watching him play personally live and talking to him mother. He is a football player that just happens to be running track now. I look forward to seeing him on the practice field in fall camp. I think he is going to prove a lot of people wrong. I am pulling for him and what he can do on the football field this fall.
