This is really a simple concept...

Everyone should make their decisions in life based on its impact on me and my life enjoyment.

If he committed to VT and he leaves, then he should never break his word and is a traitor
If he decommits from somewhere else and commits to VT, the player needs to be released to live his life how he wants.

At the end of the day. it's all about ME!!!!!!!
