Where are they now? A tale of the 2015 coaching class

With all the recent...friendly debate...over coaching, etc, I thought I would go back and look at the "up and comers" from 2015 - i.e. coaches at mid-major(ish) programs who could have filled the shoes as Beamer's replacement that year and would have roughly been a Fuente-esque hire. I'll list them below along with how they've fared.

Matt Campbell - Toledo
A lot of fans wanted this guy to be the next coach at VT. He's been at Iowa State since 2016 and boasts a record of 19-19.

P.J. Fleck - Western Michigan
I don't think he was on our radar. He stayed at WMU for one more year (their really good one) before heading off to Minnesota, where he is 12-13.

Tom Herman - Houston
At the top of many people's list but he was always destined for Texas, where he went in 2017. He is 17-10 there.

Chad Morris - SMU
Night Train, this one is for you. He stayed at SMU for 3 seasons and is at Arkansas now. He is 16-32 at both schools combined.

Matt Rhule - Temple
Went 28-23 at Temple before moving to Baylor in 2017. He is 8-17 at Baylor.

Dino Babers - Bowling Green
Picked up by Syracuse in 2016. This past season was his best but he's an overall 18-19 in the land of the Orange.

Jeff Brohm - Western Kentucky
Boasted a 30-10 record at WKU. Eventually went to Purdue in 2017, where he is 13-13.

Rod Carey - Northern Illinois
Remained at Northern Illinois through 2018. His overall record there was 52-30. He takes over at Temple this year.

Matt Wells - Utah State
Stayed there through 2018 and finished with a 44-34 record. He takes over at Texas Tech this fall.

Justin Fuente - Memphis
Went 26-23 before coming here. He is 25-15 at Tech.

Yes, Fuente has done the best at his new spot but you could also argue that he entered into a better situation than most of the other guys. I also realize that rumored candidates did not only consist of G5 coaches, I just thought it would be fun to look at comparable hires (relative to origin, not destination) and how they've fared. So what are your thoughts on these guys? Who else would you have put on this list?
