and VT's "success rate" for getting players in the NFL. For example, it is unlikely that VT would be able to recruit too many 5-star WRs during Beamer's era because the offense didn't use a more pass-first scheme. In addition, VT doesn't have a long history of having WRs drafted and/or making it in the NFL as compared to other programs.

Now that doesn't mean things can't change going forward. It just may take some time and a little luck to make the change.
