I believe it's almost always that they were originally 2019 but

because of basketball opportunity reclassify to 2020 in order to maximize basketball exposure / offers.

They become pretty flexible if they get a 2019 offer to come to school with a high school diploma in hand. Perhaps they need a bit of summer school to do it or perhaps they're simply good to go but rest assured it's almost never graduating high school in 3 years. It's usually 4 years and deciding not do a 5th as per the reclassed plan.
