There is plenty of room......


to make an even more lasting impression, in my opinion. If VT pays a women's basketball coach $600K there should be plenty of room to adjust the softball coach salary from its present level when the time is right. The profiles of the two sports do not seem to be that different, in my opinion, unless I am missing some dedicated or directed contributions to basketball that are not available to softball. Bottom line you reasonably reward performers as the circumstances dictate.
