I know. Just wondering if there is much coaching in that regard.


We just learned from experience and baseball sense. It was on our own. I just was wondering if anyone ever had semi-formal instruction from coaches, say, in a classroom or film room. We never did.

As batters, we never were taught much about getting in the pitch selection mode. At least I don't remember doing any of that.

I'm not sure why.
