Its called situational hitting

If the batter understands the situation he should be a better batter, and understand that he has a better chance of achieving a quality AB. There are many things a batter can do to improve his chances of helping the team. It is just not see the ball hit the ball. We also know that a good hitter fails 70% of the time in getting a hit, but that out can still be a positive AB. My biggest complaint about this team is their inability to make contact on 3rd strikes, we seem to have excessive called 3rd strikes. I would love to know our stats on called 3rd strikes compared to the ACC.
