Updated ACC Standings - thru today


Below are the updated ACC standings that includes today's Notre Dame win over Pittsburgh.

With the Hokies clinching the #1 seed, the biggest remaining question is the #3 seed, which will come down to a battle between Notre Dame and UNC (assuming FSU takes care of business at Syracuse).

I believe UNC would own the tiebreaker over ND based on winning their series against FSU (while ND lost their series to FSU). Thus, for ND to gain the #3 seed, they must sweep Georgia Tech, which is certainly possible.

Should seeds hold during the tournament, the #3 seed would face FSU in the semi-finals while the #4 seed would face the Hokies.

Regardless of your match-up preference, it sure is nice to be able to sit back and watch, knowing that VT is locked into the #1 seed.
