General questioning regarding coaching and hitting:


I know we never had any "classroom" discussions regarding hitting. Pitch anticipation, scouting or strategies. That's from LL to HS ball. We only took BP. And that really never got into situations.

Do colleges (or even HS) teams generally avoid that? Is that part of the fanny pack (that's all I could ever imagine it would help - both defensive positioning batting based on ever changing scouting reports).

It would sure seem like a good idea.
