His basketball days are numbered.
He can get a masters degree once his playing days are over. Pro players have a short window to make some serious cash.
VT will be rebuilding next year. They will not have the talent around KBJ to showcase him. Some other colleges may be in a better position to showcase him than VT.
Still, in my opinion, he would be best served if he goes the pro route now and makes some cash. The most likely pro route is Europe, not the NBA. I believe he is a smart guy and will chose that option.
