the defensive side of the ball. We lost waaay too many 4 star prospects in state last year. I think that opposing schools are using Bud's seniority (aka: age) against him and CJF has not done enough to establish good contacts with h.s. coaches in the state. Establishing those relationships was big with CFB even before he became successful. CJF has apparently felt that he can get what he needs generally from outside of the state but with NC State slowing rising, Mack Brown at UNC, Ga Tech has a new coach who apparently has reinvigorated that program so far Va starting to show some success CJF is going to find it harder to get quality players outside of the state, he and Bud need to double down in the state.
