he wants to go to a school that will play him at point guard. I assume he thinks PG is his best chance to make the NBA. Not many top level teams will take him as a 1 year development project for PG. All schools want players that will help them win now.

Of course, there are some schools that will promise him PG and then play him where they want him to play to increase chance for wins.
