I would guess it likely depends on the feedback he gets from the NBA.


If he's a 1st round pick, he's likely gone to the NBA. If not, they'll tell him what they need to see from him in order to improve his stock for next year. That information may also point him in the direction of Europe (not sure how he would feel about that option, even though he did grow up overseas). If he does decide to go to college for one more year, then it's a question of where he can accomplish what the NBA reports tell him he needs. I suspect staying at VT will be a tough sell to allow him that opportunity unless at least a few more pieces are added for next season.

I think the J Rob injury definitely improved Blacksheer's stock with the way he was able to step forward into being a focal point of the offense, really demonstrating his acumen in both the high post and low post areas in ways that we hadn't seen consistently from him before that point.
