ESPN+ is like ESPN3. The streams are available whenever the Conference schedules the games.

No ESPN won't give them favorable time slots on ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNNews, or ESPNU. They're going to be late hours. Same with CBS Sports Net. But ESPN+ is an advantage ESPN would have over CBS.

And they would make more from ESPN than from Stadium or BeIN sports.

Several other conferences including the Big XII and AAC have contracted with ESPN to put their games on ESPN+ recently. The MWC should look into it too.
