If Hoffman did not have a coaching change, he would been denied with no back up plan. Does that sit well with you? Mom's situation is irrelevant but god forbid a coach leaves.
Meanwhile we have guys getting a waiver because they were called a name. Of course those situations clearly had nothing to do with them not winning the starting job. They uhhh feared for their safety right!!!! So name calling (as nebulous and absurd as that is) gets a waiver. A parent battling life threatening cancer does not.
Not sure how anyone can try to defend the NCAA on this.
If no coaching change then no waiver. Pretty sure Brock cared very little about the coaching change but does care alot about mom
