Off the top of my head, Spurrier quit mid-season. I'm sure there are others. And so what? Fuente had a 5 year contract. The athletes have a year to year renewable scholarship. Basically a 5 year deal and a 1 year deal. The contract has provisions for leaving before the end of the 5 year period and the NCAA provides an ability for the kids to transfer. I don't see much difference other than assigning more culpability (if there is any to assign) to the coach as a grown man (and multi-millionaire) who has made commitments to recruits, parents and the team. But whatever.......
