Poor accuracy on field goal gets you fired in the NFL.

The reverse is true though.

This is why a guy like Adam Viniaterri is still employed. Really old guy. Doesn't kick kickoffs any more and has lost some leg strength. But at 46 he's still accurate and consistent.
