Common in the NFL to have kickers OR punters handle kickoff. I don't think there is a single NFL team that has more than 1 kicker and 1 punter on their 46 man rosters. No way they hire a specific kickoff guy. You have to be a REALLY good field goal kicker or a REALLY good punter.

People saying Stout has an "NFL leg" might be doing the kid a disservice. You need to be super accurate and consistent at FG or Punt to kick in the NFL.

NFL is different because if your starter gets hurt, you can pick up a free agent for the next week. Kickers and punters don't have elaborate playbooks to learn when they switch teams.

Remember Michael Dickson at Seattle last year? Kicker ("Seabass") was injured and they had to have their Aussie punter kick the kickoffs. He dropped kicked a regular kickoff and an onside kick.

Hey... maybe Oscar will drop kick the kickoffs next year. That would be

AAAAAWWWWWEEEEESSSSSSOOOOOMMMMEEEE!!!!!!!
