our early season schedule was rather weak. I remember Georgia Tech beating us and how the team responded. The same with JMU and Louisville. I was worried about the UNC series, especially after UNC won 2 of 3 from FSU. Maybe Tech needed a slightly tougher nonconference schedule but after the past 2 seasons, I think our relatively easy schedule was what this program needed. We are also fortunate to avoid both FSU and Notre Dame. Our 40 win record is inflated, but we do have some nice wins against UGA, JMU, Louisville, and UNC, proving that this team can beat the NCAA Tournament-type programs. We have a few veteran players who contribute a lot but this team is relatively young. Like I said before, we were picked to finish 10th and here we are a top the ACC Coastal and looking like the #1 seed come ACC tournament time. All of us are proud of this team.
