Have to imagine he's done

Some other clues that he's probably not coming back:

He's been posting "I'm going to miss you guys" messages to teammates on Twitter.

You can also see that a large number of coaches from big schools are following him on the last few days. (Penn State, Purdue, Auburn, UConn, Arkansas, Florida Atlantic). I seem to remember that Twitter DMs aren't regulated the same way as phone calls, so that's the way that a lot of coaches communicate with recruits.

Virginia Tech seems to have only one scholarship FG kicker spot while some other schools will give a second spot to a kickoff specialist or a highly rated underclassman.

Most high school kickers don't get picked up on national signing day. It's usually happening after spring game and practices when coaches know what they need to round out their team and know whether or not they have a spot to give. There is a LOT of activity with recruiting kickers this time of year.

Jordan is almost certainly a better bet for college coaches than a 4 star class of 2019 high-school kid. You know coming in that he can play on day 1 with kickoff and that he can at least compete in field goals and punting.

I think it's a good bet he'll get a scholarship offer somewhere maybe at a D1 FBS/PCS. If nothing else, he could probably get at least a partial scholarship at a D1 FCS school. (For example at James Madison, which is one of the schools following him).
