None of us really know the dynamics between our defensive staff, but I think we all saw that the fire was missing on that side of the ball last year. I think the fire was missing in the coaches too. I don't think we should have let Scott go. The line on him using state funds for his affair was iffy at best. I mean I suppose she was riding shotgun when he declared mileage, and she also stayed in his hotel....but those were things he would have used state funds for anyway. Its not like he took extra money. I just wish they had called it what it was. He was canned because of the morality of the situation, and honestly it would have blown over. I don't think someone should be canned just for having an affair. He wasn't clergy, he was a football coach, and even though I don't know him. I am pretty sure there is more to the man than his affair. Ultimately it was up to his wife to decide how to deal with him, and apparently he is getting a second chance. Okay...rant over LoL. I guess this situation really bothered me.
