What type of headlight? HID?

If it's a conventional headlight bulb, anyone who has rebuilt a BMW 525 should be able to change it with two hands tied behind their back. HID bulbs/filaments are much more difficult to change, and understand why you would want to hire someone to change it.

Your son should also pull out the spare, and do the tire rotation himself. That's a character building exercise!

Cant help you with a Blacksburg shop for a front end alignment, but I would make sure the shop has a computer controlled alignment rack. Also make sure the guy doing the alignment puts the steering wheel clamp in place before starting, otherwise the steering wheel will be off center when you drive it.
