Sorry, old school here (not in just my name) I think


athletes signing to play sports for a specific school in exchange for a free education, tutors, travel to places they have never been at no charge, no student loans to payoff (very large cost these days as we all know), etc. should have to meet that commitment by attending that school for four years. (or five or six if redshirt of some variety) (keeping their grades up). If they don't agree to that they don't go to school. I know this will never happen but to me it is hard enough as a college coach to field a competitive team with a graduating class every year. To spend all of that time and expense recruiting an athlete and then not being able to keep them on the team makes no sense.
