Williams needs to remember the old saying

The sun doesn't shine on one dog's ass all the time.

It seems to me he has been running to new grass his whole life but eventually, he will have to face some real adversity. At Tech that was probably coming in the next year or two but he had built up enough goodwill and reputation as good coach to the weather the storm. At Texas A&M it might not be the fairytale he was planning and things might go ugly quicker and last longer than he expects. If it does, I will get a chuckle because the guy is a self-promoting narcissist.

As for leaving Tech better than he found it. Meh, Greenberg was bringing in top talent well before Brent ever came to town. ACC membership can almost recruit itself. Kind of like the SEC in football. I was not thrilled on the MY hire but this guy does seem to show loyalty to a program and will truly try to leave it better than he found it.
