He wasn't arrogant, perhaps a better descriptor would be "schticky"...
What I mean by that is that he has a specific style. If you're winning it's great, but if you're losing, or in our case he left, it can come across or be remembered in a negative way.
I liked Buzz, I liked his style. I liked how he valued his players' lives before the game of basketball. He was coaching them for life instead of the moment. Like I said, it's great when you're winning, but if we were perennial losers, I'm not sure how I would've taken it.
Human nature is weird.
