Buzz felt that he was the smartest person in the room and there is nothing wrong with that until you force everyone else in the room to try to believe it. IMO, he used his quirky nerdy side as the excuse to condescend and express his arrogance. I've felt this way and have expressed it on these boards for years. He was respectful as long as it served him.
