I took his quote as being that whomever talked with the Nolleys


shared the fact that, yes MY has been at Wofford, but he is a coach that is going to help you progress forward in life and basketball. That he is a good man to play for, and you will be better for it afterwards. Not sure you need to Devil's Advocate anything about this.
