I think everyone was just sitting there dumbfounded


I didn't pay a lot of attention to everyone else... My jaw was affixed to the ground at that point.

I will say that with 6:01 to go, Lester Karlin came up to me to ask a favor.... "Please grab all the jackets and get them in the hampers so fans don't steal them when they storm the field".

Well... didn't have to worry about that.
