Why take a chance?

If you're one of the older guys and you want to play pro, I understand that you will have an incredibly hard time doing that when you aren't the starter of your college team. And it could be that due to the schemes or plays or whatever, the things that you are asked to do don't line up with your skill set.

I don't hold anything against someone that wants to transfer so that they have a better chance to play more or start. College sports eligibility is short-time. They can't afford to waste any snaps their Jr and Sr years. Only programs like Alabama and Clemson can afford to $tockpile excess talent. Mostly I think they can do this because of their increased visibility.
