UNC takes series with FSU, 2 games to 1


It would have been better if FSU won the last game. Still, VT totally controls their destiny.

UNC had been going with one strong pitcher much of the season. Tonight, UNC freshman, Hannah George threw a 3 hit shut out in a 1-0 win against the #3 Seminoles. It looks like UNC now has 2 pitchers, which will make them tougher to beat.

The Hokies really need to take at east 2 of 3 games vs. UNC this coming weekend. The following week vs. Atlantic last place team BC, VT could wrap up the #1 seed with a sweep.
