No. This was much better. Units were more cohesive and we got to see...


...may more football plays.
Because guys pretty much played along side their own level of competition/skill, the units worked better as a whole than if we'd had, say a #1 DT beside a #3 DT (the result of picking teams).

It's just a bit odd/frustrating not having a score to follow, but given what the spring practices are for, this format is MUCH better for evaluation.
