There are options such as football only and re-arranging the tournament schedules to end on Saturday. They could also schedule only the other members of the league on Sundays for regular season events.

I mention BYU because ESPN already has the rights to BYU football. It would be an easy merger. I remember BYU being at the top of the list when the Big XII put on their spectacle in 2016 having everyone bid. There was uproar over the politics of BYU policies due to religious issues. If the Big XII adds them going forward, they should only make it public after its done. No more public spectacles. It's much easier to get forgiveness than permission.
