Apple stores make upgrading your phone easy

Its nice, but there are a few tips if you want to turn anything in (for credit).

1. Make sure you backup to iCloud before you go. That way you aren't having to stand around in the store while everything is backed up.

2. Unpair your watch if you're turning or exchanging it for a new one. That will also speed up your time in the store.

It wasn't too bad, but I could have saved myself 15 minutes if I had done those first.

Nice to NOT have old phones & watches sitting around in a drawer...getting a "trade in" deal is icing on the cake.

Out with the old 6S (and Series 2 watch), in with the XR. (Also handed them my old 3S for recycling.) Should be good for another ~4 years.
