It's all "travel" youth sports.


There's good (coaching, player development, competition) and A LOT of bad (unrealistic parents, high cost, winning over development, etc). All the posts below make a lot of good points and highlight many of the negatives associated with this movement.

It certainly benefits the college coaches though as they can go watch multiple kids on one day/weekend vs traveling to various schools/gyms/fields across the country night in and night out.
