All of us can understand that being from the state of Texas, he eventually wanted to go home. I get that.
Things like dropping off in recruiting the last couple of years, probably with him thinking it would not matter to him anyway, are the 'ways' to which I refer. The fact that we are most likely going to be short of players for at least this coming season, and the fact that he did not really try to build a program, as opposed to just a team for a few years... yes, we made the Sweet 16. That's great! But the fact that it feels we are scrambling to fill the roster when he leaves, it seems like we are somewhat back to square one. In other words - is the program better than it was before him?
And, the end of his Marquette days make you wonder.
Compare this to Mike Young, at least in terms of the way Wofford feels about him.
