Lacrosse
I watched #7 in the nation, Moorestown, NJ, play #6 in the nation, Georgetown Visitation of DC, a week ago in high school girl's lacrosse. The best player on the field was Kayla Frank, a Hokie recruit. Kayla had 6 of Moorestown's 11 goals in a one goal win. She has the ability to be a Paige Petty type of player. She is all over the field on offense and defense.
One of last year's mainstays, co-captain and all-ACC performer Tristan McGinley, is from Moorestown as is one of this year's co-captains, Julia Bolte. The Hokies miss the physical presence of McGinley on the field. At 6-2, she played a big role on draw controls and was a big time goal scorer.
