My understanding is that she is a VERY highly rated recruit

I haven't seen a recent ranking, but as a sophomore, she was a Top 100 recruit (71). She was recruited by some of the top programs in the country.

She originally committed to Oregon, but apparently had a change of heart after Mike White left Oregon for Texas. Her subsequent twitter entry when she committed to VT was "Sometimes our lives have to be completely turned, flipped, rearranged, and shaken up before we are relocated to the place we were meant to be all along."
