The Massey SOS is 104 . . . far worse than most top 40 teams . . .

This team is much improved but the schedule has been less than challenging. While the schedule is a bit tougher from here out ACC softball has generally been on the decline for the last decade. With the obvious exception of FSU there's probably not another top 20 team in the league. Pitching is problem. I watched UNC play yesterday @ ECU. Coach Papa tried to pitch her #2 but she lasted 2/3 of an inning. VT has two legit starters which should serve them well in the league.
