I'm not sure the way he has conducted himself didn't hurt his stock some. Coaches talk - I don't know if one HC calls another directly about transfers, but you know there is a back channel among assistants that know each other from previous stops, etc. No one is looking for trouble and why would you take a chance on a guy who while good, is not a game changer.
