The "probem" on the cradle was that Mekhi's hands were too low when he


initiated the move. That is, when you lock up that nearside cradle, you generally want your hand closer to the head. And that is common when you lock it up from a standing position. The opponent's body tends to fold which creates enough space that he can get his arm inside the lock that prevents you from making adjustments easy.

Once Mekhi rolled to his hip, there was no way for him to really adjust the hold. He didn't have a good pinning grip ... just a scoring one. And to be clear, he didn't do anything wrong in executing the move. If he tried to tighten it up before driving Joseph over, he might have lost the opportunity in the first place.
