Exactly, the program was needed a serious retrofit

TO get to the next level, VT had some hard decisions; let go a guy who built the progran from scratch and worked hard, but it was definitely past a plateau and was slipping. At the same time our peer ACC schools was raising investment in softball.

It was time, and looks like an amazing transformation so far.
