Yeah, remember reading some FSU boards before our national championship game, some astute guys were kind of jealous of where Hokie fans were, pure enjoyment, everything's gravy unlike FSU fans for who that was the expectation, more afraid of losing and not really enjoying the win as much.

You're right, and every coach knows that too, We think coaches are fickle but they know you fans are fickle too eg "What have you done for me lately"? In a way, this five year run has been perfect, improvements every year, all new and exciting. Next time we win a first round it will no longer be new and exciting. It will only be OK and a coach knows that, if there is a step up the ladder don't be a fool and not take it more so because it keeps things interesting than just the pay.

Human nature, you really do need to go out and find something new to do every couple years.
